Dr. Lisa Kang, General Surgeon, Cosmetic Surgeon
Dr. Lisa Kang is the founder and operator of Serenity MedSpa. After earning diplomas in both biochemistry and music at the University of California, Berkeley, she continued her studies at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She completed her general surgery residency program at the University of California Davis-East Bay Program (now called the University of California San Francisco-East Bay Program). Since that time she has conducted a successful private practice as a board-certified general surgeon in San Francisco with her brother, Dr. David Kang. Dr. Lisa Kang expanded her surgical skills to include noninvasive cosmetic laser surgery and cosmetic dermatologic procedures. She has now fully committed her practice to cosmetic procedures and the weight loss program at Serenity Medspa. She is very experienced with the latest cosmetic lasers and injections, such as Botox and Fillers. She will personally meet with each client to plan the best treatment and to deliver the best results.
Dr. David Kang, General Surgeon, Cosmetic Surgeon
Dr. David Kang, elder brother of Dr. Lisa Kang, is the co-owner and operator of Serenity MedSpa. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biophysics and Physiology at the University of California, Berkeley before continuing on to the University of St. Louis School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of California Davis-East Bay Program. For the past fourteen years, he has conducted a successful private practice in San Francisco as a board-certified general surgeon.
Dr. David Kang expanded his surgical skills to include noninvasive cosmetic laser surgery and cosmetic dermatologic procedures. Along with his sister, he is highly trained in these fields. His main focus, however, is the latest Smartlipo Laser Liposuction. He is one of the most experienced laser liposuction surgeons nationwide. His meticulous attention to detail and artistry as well as highly skilled technical abilities has provided numerous of his patients with very satisfying results.
